We now have a good news for HP Vita owner, as it looks as the promised firmware upgrade to 1.80 now live for in North America. We are waiting for confirmation is still on the update going live in Europe, but it looks like the large collection of ps1 classic are now available for the game also.
As we in a previous article here is the return of the ps1 said classic showing main attraction here and finally a good reason for Vita owners begin, some hours back in your device. Sony has also sent out a large list of ps1 games that are compatible for the transfer of the Vita and the good news is that most of the big names on the list, with one or two notable failures are included.
Like Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid and the Crash Bandicoot series are all included on the list and ready for the transfer, if you already have the digital version on PSN. However we dont see the Spyro games still and for some reason only Tekken 1 and 2 is included, not the shiny Tekken 3 game.
Sony has recorded an official list on their blog here, but you might want this post to see whether they work or not Neogaf instead, how much more useful with PS-Vita owner test it bookmark games themselves. It is also worth noting that some games not properly transferred, so it seems of a trial and error situation with some titles.
After checking with our 3 G-Unit, we can confirm that the update live is 1.80 and the update is just over 100 MB in size. Apart from the ps1 classic support there are also a number of other features included, such as able to navigate to the homescreen button touch instead. Also you browse the Internet with the rear touchpad now, so not as many fingerprints on the screen before.
Check out the video below from Sony for a brief introduction to the new changes in 1.80. Let us know you, whether the update in your area and what games have been successful or unsuccessful with is when transferring ps1 classics live.
